SAI: Coloring Eyes by Sireinita SAI: Coloring Eyes by Sireinita
Note: For those unfamiliar with Paint Tool SAI, Rueme has an excellent tutorial: Part 1 // Part 2
Tools: Paint Tool SAI, Wacom Graphire 3

So! I keep meaning to make a nice walkthrough on how I color, but my plans keep being thwarted by my inconsistent methods. By the time I finished typing this one up, I had already switched coloring methods -- if you look closely at the finished headshot, the eyes look a little different.

The eyes section wasn't meant to be its own tutorial, so it seems a little awkward by itself (now that I look at the explanations, they are super incoherent; feel free to ask questions if something is confusing)... Still, I hope this is at least somewhat useful to someone. I will try to make a complete walkthrough in the future. :D

Here's the first part, but it doesn't cover anything important and is therefore completely pointless: [link]

I only have problem with the last part, I don't know how to lock layers.

with the layer you want to lock selected, look at the check boxes above your layers and check 'preserve opacity'. :) if you are still having trouble, please see this tutorial: [link]
